The ultimate finishing tool that should sit in every detailer’s workshop. Presented in a stunning anti-corrosive lined aluminium re-useable bottle… Our completely revised and renamed ceramic spray coating contains shy under DOUBLE the SiO2 amount compared our previous product, Impressively… at just under 10% SiO2 content alongside other clever bonding materials in this hybrid solution while making it useable.
Apply to Paintwork, Vinyl/PPF Wraps, Wheels, Glass and Plastics.
We’ve offered out our Money Shot coating in a generous 300ml size bottle which is sure to coat a medium size car all over at a minimum of 6 times, some people can be trigger heavy so we’ve taken that number into account… but less is more as the this magic sauce spreads thin.
We are ShineAuto, a professional detailing workshop of Maidstone, Kent since 2018 and we have been using our own ceramic sealants past and present on our own as well as customer’s cars as a cost effective and time saving alternative to more expensive hard coats offered.
We’ve worked closely with our chosen lab to try and test various forms of this hybrid coating to ensure this gives immediate visual results with lasting beneficial properties over any other brand sealant.
This product is aimed at the more seasoned detailer or more patient weekend warrior. Far from being a quick detailer, this spray on coating is a faster and more economical approach to hard ceramic applications while delivering the same benefits.
Immediate improvement over our previous product is the initial application process. However, you need to work fast in small areas to ensure the immediate process of curing doesn’t streak your paintwork which is especially noticeable on darker shades.
Benefits -
Immediate improvement in depth and gloss to paintwork.
Paintwork colour is richer.
Light marring/wash marks are significantly reduced.
Insane hydrophobic protection to keep your car cleaner for longer and cutting your wash routine time down by half.
Application -
We recommend if not done so already, that your vehicle is decontaminated so your paintwork is smooth. Following a SOFT MITT WASH, use of a lathered clay mitt such as a Farecla G3 Pro is advised as this is soft and provides minimum to no marring if lubed well… This a great start to getting smooth paintwork ready for application. If your car is already professionally treated and free from existing wash marks then we advise strongly to avoid use of a clay mitt and use pre wash chemicals and soft mitt only to avoid any marring/wash marks.
Once your vehicle is clean, dry and cool. Prepare 2 x Microfibre cloths… Prime one with a handful of sprays and apply to a 2’x2’ area before buffing. Allow up to a minute (cool panel temperatures only) for the product to ‘flash’ before buffing with your second cloth methodically. Repeat until all surfaces have been coated.
Tips -
Apply a second coat after 12 hours to ensure durability and a nice flush thick coating. (optional but advised)
Use this as a topper to existing hard ceramic coatings as our product will then become a slick sacrificial layer to protect what’s underneath.
This coating does not need to be reapplied each wash. It’s designed to be durable so you’re free to maintenance wash and dry your car as usual with a detailing towel and finish with your chosen quick detailing spray.
Allow a minimum of 3 days before washing your vehicle to allow full curing of the coating.
On all colours, you may find what looks like smearing or ‘holograms’ appear on your paintwork. This is because the coating is still wet and requires time to settle as it cures… As long as you have buffed well, you can leave it be for a couple of hours and use your quick detailer to mist and gently buff over to ease off the excess sealant.
On darker shades you will likely find ‘hazing’ appear shortly after where you have applied… This is part of the curing process. After an hour or more, using the buffing cloth to gently wipe over to rid of the hazing. This may require a few wipes before the coating settles.
